The operations were launched hours after the Yemeni defence ministry in Sanaa issued a warning to citizens in occupied areas to keep their distance from gathering centres and weapons stores linked to the aggressors. The ministry said the Saudi-led coalition bore full responsibility for the consequences of "militarising civilian areas."
Social media activists circulated images and video of the strikes, saying that the coalition deliberately positioned ammunition depots next to residential homes to use them as human shields.
The attacks underscored Yemeni forces' intelligence and combat capability in tracking and striking aggressor positions in occupied territory, reports said. No figures for the dead and wounded were immediately provided.
